Job Summary:
BMS Technician cum Maintenance Technician is responsible for the operation, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure efficient and reliable performance of building automation systems. The role includes both system operation and hands\-on maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1\. Installation \& Commissioning
Install, configure, and commission BMS equipment and components in accordance with manufacturer specifications and project requirements.
2\. Operation \& Monitoring
Monitor and control building systems through the BMS interface, including HVAC, lighting, and electrical systems.
Respond promptly to alarms, alerts, and system notifications.
Adjust system parameters to optimize energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and system performance.
3\. Maintenance \& Inspection
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance as per scheduled plans.
Clean, lubricate, and calibrate sensors, actuators, and controllers to ensure accurate operation.
Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities.
4\. Troubleshooting \& Repair
Diagnose faults in BMS systems and implement corrective actions efficiently.
Repair or replace defective components such as sensors, relays, valves, and wiring.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety procedures.
5\. General Technical Support
Basic knowledge of MCC panels and switchgear maintenance.
Coordinate with vendors and other technical teams when required.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 3 years of experience in BMS maintenance.
Experience in commercial or industrial facilities is preferred.
Proficiency in BMS software for monitoring and control.
Strong troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills.
Good knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and instrumentation.
Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Salary : QR 2,300\+FAT**
Pay: Up to QAR2,300\.00 per month
