Improving inventory management efficiency and reducing operational costs **F\&B Retail Inventory Controller** Job Overview Our company is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to manage and monitor inventory within the Food & Beverage and Retail sectors. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing waste, tracking material and product movement, ensuring accuracy between physical stock and accounting systems, and supporting operational efficiency and cost reduction. Responsibilities * Monitor and manage inventory levels across restaurants or retail outlets. * Track daily movement of raw materials and finished goods. * Conduct periodic stock counts (Daily/Weekly/Monthly Stock Counts). * Reconcile physical inventory with system data (Inventory Reconciliation). * Analyze waste and loss, and propose solutions to minimize them. * Coordinate with Procurement, Kitchen, and Warehouse departments to ensure material availability. * Prepare inventory, consumption, and operational cost reports. * Monitor expiry dates and implement FIFO/FEFO systems. * Support ordering and replenishment processes based on operational needs. * Ensure compliance with storage and food safety procedures. * Improve inventory management efficiency and reduce operational costs. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Inventory Management, or a related field. * 2–5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably within the F\&B or retail sector. * Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP. * Strong analytical skills and data accuracy. * Proficiency in Excel and inventory reporting. * Solid understanding of inventory management principles (FIFO / FEFO). * High organizational and follow-up skills.
