Prepare and review lifting permits, method statements, and risk assessments **Job Description** Qatar Master WLL is looking for a skilled and experienced **Lifting Supervisor** to join our growing team for construction, infrastructure, oil \& gas, shutdown, and industrial projects across Qatar. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of lifting operations, rigging activities, crane coordination, and safety compliance according to project and international standards. The candidate will be responsible for supervising all lifting activities on site, ensuring safe work practices, coordinating with crane operators and rigging teams, and maintaining proper documentation and operational control. **Key Responsibilities** * Supervise all lifting and rigging operations on project sites * Ensure lifting activities are performed safely and according to approved lifting plans * Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, banksmen, and site engineers * Verify crane setup, ground conditions, lifting accessories, and load weights before operation * Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings before lifting activities * Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, company policies, and client requirements * Monitor lifting equipment inspections and certifications * Stop unsafe lifting operations immediately when required * Prepare and review lifting permits, method statements, and risk assessments * Maintain proper communication during critical lifting operations * Ensure proper use of slings, shackles, hooks, spreader beams, and other lifting gear * Coordinate with project management for daily lifting schedules and manpower planning * Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions to management **Requirements** * Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor * Experience in Construction, Oil \& Gas, Shutdown, Industrial, or Infrastructure projects * Strong understanding of lifting procedures and rigging practices * Knowledge of crane operations including mobile cranes, crawler cranes, and tower cranes * Ability to read and understand lifting plans and load charts * Familiar with international safety standards and lifting regulations * Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple lifting activities * GCC/Qatar experience will be an advantage * Valid certification for Lifting Supervisor preferred * Knowledge of English required Work Location: In person
