**Job Summary**
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing advanced and comprehensive healthcare to patients, including health assessments, diagnosis of common conditions, development of treatment plans, prescribing medications (in accordance with applicable regulations), patient education, and health follow-up. Works collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure safe, high-quality medical services while complying with the regulations of the Ministry of Public Health in the State of Qatar and institutional healthcare policies.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Conduct comprehensive patient health assessments, including taking medical history and performing physical examinations.
* Diagnose common health conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans within the scope of practice.
* Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests as needed.
* Prescribe authorized medications and treatments in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
* Deliver preventive care, manage chronic diseases, and monitor treatment plans.
* Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, medications, preventive measures, and healthy lifestyle practices.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure integrated care.
* Respond to emergencies and provide initial care when required.
* Accurately document all medical and nursing procedures in electronic medical records (EMR).
* Adhere to quality standards, patient safety protocols, and infection control policies.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and professional development.
* Comply with regulations and directives issued by the Ministry of Public Health in the State of Qatar.
**Required Qualifications**
* Master’s degree in Nurse Practitioner or an equivalent accredited qualification.
* Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a recognized university.
* Valid license or eligibility for licensure from the **Ministry of Public Health in the State of Qatar (MOPH)**.
* Minimum of **3–5 years** of nursing experience; experience as a Nurse Practitioner in hospitals or healthcare centers is preferred.
* Certifications in **Basic Life Support (BLS)**; **Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)** or **Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)** are preferred, depending on job requirements.

* Fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.
**Work Environment**
* Work settings include hospitals, healthcare centers, specialty clinics, and public or private medical institutions.
* Collaboration with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
* The position may require shift work, night duty, and working during weekends and official holidays, based on institutional needs.

Salary: QAR23,000.00 per month
