Opportunity to operate warehouse equipment if certified A Warehouse Assistant (Logistics Assistant) is responsible for supporting the daily operations of a warehouse by receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching goods efficiently and accurately. This role helps ensure inventory is managed properly, orders are prepared on time, and warehouse operations run smoothly while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. **Key Responsibilities:** * Receive, inspect, and unload incoming deliveries. * Verify shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents. * Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations. * Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment. * Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently. * Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems or manual logs. * Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory audits. * Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damaged items. * Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations. * Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified). * Coordinate with logistics, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. * Follow company policies and standard operating procedures at all times. **Qualifications and Skills:** * High school diploma or equivalent. * Previous warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience is an advantage but not always required. * Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems. * Good organizational and time management skills. * Ability to work accurately in a fast\-paced environment. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and move heavy items safely. * Forklift certification is an advantage where required.
