**Job Description:**
* + Ensuring compliance with relevant radiation safety regulations and protocols.
+ Properly operating and maintaining radiation\-generating equipment, such as X\-ray machines or gamma\-ray sources.
+ Implementing appropriate radiation protection measures to minimize exposure for themselves and others.
+ Monitoring and recording radiation levels during inspections.
+ Selecting the appropriate NDT technique and equipment based on the specific requirements of the inspection.
+ Positioning and aligning the radiation source and detectors to obtain the desired images or data.
+ Interpreting the radiographic images or data to identify any defects, flaws, or anomalies in the inspected materials or components.
+ Documenting the inspection findings and preparing reports for clients or stakeholders.
+ Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of NDT results by following established procedures and standards.
+ Calibrating and maintaining the NDT equipment to ensure its proper functioning.
+ Participating in ongoing training and certification programs to stay up\-to\-date with the latest NDT techniques and technologies.
+ Collaborating with other NDT professionals, such as inspectors, engineers, or technicians, to coordinate and execute the inspection process.
+ Communicating effectively with clients or stakeholders to understand their specific requirements and provide clear and concise inspection reports.
**Qualification**
* Certification in radiographic testing (RT) from a recognized organization, such as the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) or an equivalent international body.
* Certification may require passing written and practical examinations to demonstrate competence in radiographic inspection techniques.
* Maintenance of certification through ongoing training, continuing education, and recertification as required.
