Involve in punch list preparation and testing witness activities Job Summary We are looking for an experienced **QA/QC Inspector** to carry out inspections and quality control activities for electrical installation and substation projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in **installation inspections, cable inspections, equipment inspections, punch list preparation, testing witness activities, and quality documentation**. Key Responsibilities * Conduct inspections of electrical installation activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITPs. * Inspect electrical equipment and installations to ensure compliance with project quality requirements. * Carry out **cable inspections**, including cable laying, routing, termination, identification, and installation quality. * Inspect installation of electrical equipment and verify compliance with approved technical requirements. * Witness and monitor electrical testing activities in coordination with the testing and commissioning team. * Prepare and maintain **punch lists** and follow up on outstanding items until closure. * Identify quality deviations and report non\-conforming work to the QA/QC Engineer. * Verify that corrective actions have been properly implemented. * Review inspection requests and supporting documentation before and during inspections. * Maintain accurate inspection records, checklists, test reports, and quality documentation. * Coordinate inspections with the client, consultant, contractors, and relevant project teams. * Support the QA/QC Engineer in maintaining project quality standards and documentation. * Ensure all inspection activities are completed in accordance with approved ITPs and project procedures. * Participate in quality meetings and follow up on inspection\-related actions. Requirements * Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related discipline. * **Minimum 5 years of relevant QA/QC inspection experience.** * Proven experience in electrical installation inspections. * Strong experience in **cable inspections** and installation quality checks. * Experience inspecting electrical equipment and substation installations. * Experience preparing and following up on **punch lists**. * Experience witnessing electrical testing and commissioning activities. * Good knowledge of inspection procedures, ITPs, drawings, and technical specifications. * Strong documentation and record\-keeping skills. * Ability to identify quality issues and ensure timely corrective action. * Good communication and coordination skills. * Ability to work effectively on construction and project sites. Preferred * GCC/Qatar experience in power transmission or substation projects. * Experience with **132kV/220kV GIS substation projects**. * Experience working on EPC projects. * Familiarity with **KAHRAMAA specifications and requirements**. * Relevant QA/QC or inspection certifications will be an advantage. * Candidates currently available in Qatar will be preferred.
