Summary: Oversee all aspects of joinery production, including planning, workshop operations, quality control, material management, and team supervision. Highlights: 1. Lead production planning, scheduling, and workshop management for joinery items. 2. Ensure quality control, material optimization, and timely project delivery. 3. Supervise production teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance. **Production Planning \& Scheduling** * Plan and organize daily, weekly, and monthly production activities. * Prepare production schedules based on project timelines and priorities. * Coordinate with the estimation and project team to align production with site requirements. * Ensure timely delivery of joinery items **Workshop Management** * Oversee all workshop operations including cutting, machining, assembly, polishing, and finishing. * Ensure proper use and maintenance of machinery and tools. * Monitor workforce productivity and allocate tasks efficiently. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment. **Technical \& Drawing Coordination** * Prepare and Review shop drawings, cutting lists, and material specifications before production. * Coordinate with designers and draftsmen to resolve technical issues. * Ensure all joinery items are produced as per approved drawings and client specifications. * **Material Management** * Plan and monitor material requirements * Coordinate with procurement for timely material availability. * Control material wastage and optimize usage. **Quality Control** * Implement quality standards for all joinery works. * Inspect work at different production stages. * Ensure finishing quality meets project specifications. * Rectify defects before dispatch to site. **Team Supervision** * Manage carpenters, machine operators, polishers, and helpers. * Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluation. * Ensure workers follow safety procedures and company policies. **Delivery \& Site Coordination** * Coordinate with site engineers for delivery schedules and installation priorities. * Ensure proper packing and safe transportation of finished items. * Support site team during installation if required. **Cost Control \& Efficiency** * Monitor production costs and labor efficiency. * Reduce rework and optimize production processes. * Implement cost\-saving measures without compromising quality. **Reporting \& Documentation** * Maintain production reports, progress updates, and inventory records. * Report delays, issues, and resource requirements to management. * Track KPIs such as productivity, wastage, and on\-time delivery. **Health, Safety \& Compliance** * Ensure compliance with HSE standards in the workshop. * Conduct safety checks and toolbox talks. * Ensure proper handling of machines, chemicals, and materials. **Continuous Improvement** * Improve workflow, machinery utilization, and production techniques. * Introduce new technologies or methods to enhance productivity. * Implement lean manufacturing practices where possible.
