Summary: The ELV Project Engineer plans, coordinates, executes, and monitors Extra Low Voltage (ELV) projects to ensure delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality, meeting client expectations. Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. **Job Purpose** The ELV Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring Extra Low Voltage (ELV) projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements while meeting client expectations and company standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage ELV projects from initiation to handover. * Review project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and technical requirements. * Prepare project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and progress reports. * Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. * Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities for ELV systems. * Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and quality standards. * Monitor project progress and resolve technical and operational issues. * Conduct site surveys and provide technical recommendations. * Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements. * Manage project documentation, including RFIs, NCRs, progress reports, and handover documents. * Support procurement activities by identifying material requirements and evaluating technical compliance. * Ensure health, safety, and environmental requirements are implemented at project sites. * Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates to management. * Coordinate testing and commissioning activities with relevant stakeholders. * Ensure successful project closure and client acceptance. **Systems Covered** * Access Control Systems * CCTV \& Video Management Systems * Intrusion Detection Systems * Fire Alarm Systems * Public Address Systems * Structured Cabling Systems * Intercom Systems * Gate Barrier Systems * Parking Management Systems * Building Management System (BMS) Interfaces * Security Management Platforms **Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline. * PMP, PRINCE2, or ELV\-related certifications are considered an advantage. **Experience** * 3–7 years of experience managing and delivering ELV projects. * Experience in commercial buildings, data centers, airports, healthcare facilities, hospitality, industrial facilities, or large\-scale infrastructure projects is preferred. * Experience with leading ELV platforms such as LenelS2, Genetec, Milestone, Honeywell, Gallagher, Bosch, Avigilon, Suprema, HID, or equivalent solutions. **Technical Skills** * Strong understanding of ELV systems design, implementation, and integration. * Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Knowledge of project management methodologies. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite. * Understanding of networking fundamentals and IP\-based security systems. * Knowledge of testing, commissioning, and system acceptance procedures. * Familiarity with project budgeting and cost control. **Behavioral Competencies** * Leadership and Team Management. * Project Planning and Organization. * Problem Solving and Decision Making. * Communication and Stakeholder Management. * Customer Focus. * Time Management. * Attention to Detail. * Accountability and Ownership. **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * Project completion within schedule. * Project completion within budget. * Client satisfaction score. * Quality compliance rate. * Number of project defects or rework incidents. * Timely submission of project documentation. * Health and safety compliance. * Successful testing, commissioning, and handover rate. * Resource utilization efficiency.
