**What You Will Do** -------------------- As **Service Engineer – Fire Systems**, you will play a critical role in supporting service operations in Doha, Qatar. Reporting directly to the **Operations Manager for Service Operations Fire**, you will be responsible for executing service, maintenance, and retrofit activities related to **Fire Protection and Detection Systems** within Building Technologies and Solutions. Your responsibilities will include: * Building and maintaining strong customer relationships. * Coordinating on\-site activities among customers, sub\-contractors, supervisors, and both field and office teams. * Tracking and implementing scheduled **planned preventive maintenance (PPM)** activities. * Managing assigned **L\&M and POC jobs**, including testing, commissioning, and providing timely progress reports. * Submitting required reports promptly to the office team for job invoicing. You will be part of a dynamic team that fosters technical growth and project execution excellence in the fire systems domain. **How You Will Do It** ---------------------- As a key contributor to the service team, your responsibilities will include: * Providing technical support to ensure smooth execution of fire system jobs. * Collecting updates on ongoing jobs and reporting weekly to the Operations Manager. * Following up on billing for completed jobs to ensure timely invoicing. * Coordinating timely order placement of parts/materials and tracking deliveries. * Liaising with all stakeholders to ensure transparency, timely reporting, and swift resolution of site\-related issues. Your work will focus on the technical aspects of **fire detection and suppression systems**. While formal training will be provided, much of your learning will occur in the field through mentorship and self\-study. You will also conduct system operation training and prepare handover documentation to ensure a seamless transition for customers, all while upholding the highest safety standards for yourself and subcontractors. **What We Look For** -------------------- **Required:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. * Minimum **3 years of experience** in fire protection/detection systems or a mechanical systems background. * Strong customer focus with a result\-oriented and self\-motivated mindset. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Proficiency in business analysis and reporting. * Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to diverse working styles. * Fluency in English. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities.
