




Job Summary: The Communications Director leads internal and external communications strategies to enhance brand reputation, manage public image, and ensure consistent and effective messaging. Opportunity to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment **Communications Director – Purpose of the Role:** To lead the organization’s internal and external communications strategy with the aim of enhancing brand reputation, managing public image, and ensuring consistent and effective messaging that supports the company’s objectives in the Qatari and regional markets. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and implement a corporate communications strategy aligned with the company’s vision. * Manage public relations, media affairs, and engagement with press and media outlets. * Oversee media content (press releases, statements, official speeches). * Manage corporate reputation and handle media crises as required. * Develop internal communication strategies to ensure seamless information flow within the organization. * Oversee communications, awareness, and branding campaigns. * Coordinate with various departments to ensure consistency of corporate messaging. * Manage relationships with media, advertising agencies, and external partners. * Monitor media coverage and analyze its impact on the company’s image. * Represent the organization at media events and conferences. * Prepare periodic reports on communications performance and campaign effectiveness. **Qualifications & Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Public Relations, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). * Minimum 10–15 years of experience in communications or public relations, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. * Experience in media crisis management and corporate communications. * Strong writing, editing, and message-crafting skills. * In-depth understanding of traditional and digital media. * Experience in the Gulf or Qatari market is an added advantage. * Proficiency in English (Arabic is a strong asset). **Required Skills:** * Strategic thinking * Corporate reputation management * Effective communication * Crisis management * Leadership and team building **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):** * Quality and effectiveness of media coverage * Brand reputation * Speed of response to media crises * Level of media and digital engagement * Consistency of corporate messaging **Working Conditions:** * Full-time position * Dynamic and rapidly changing work environment * May require working outside regular hours during media emergencies * Attendance at events and conferences inside and outside Qatar Salary: QAR٤١٬٠٠٠٫٠٠ per month Work Location: On-site
