Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finishing coats. Remove old finishes by stripping wallpaper, sanding, using wire brushes, burning, or employing water and/or abrasive blasting. Cover surfaces with appropriate protective materials during painting and post warning signs indicating fresh paint. Clean and store paint, tools, and painting equipment in designated locations. Coordinate with suppliers to adjust paint, stain, or varnish colors. Comply with all company safety and operational policies and procedures; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete required safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and fulfill guest service needs; assist guests with disabilities; and express genuine appreciation to guests. Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Support the team in achieving common goals. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Reach above the head and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Climb up and down ladders. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS Education: Diploma issued by a technical, trade, or vocational school. Relevant Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant work experience. Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
