Summary: Seeking a Civil Engineer to manage and supervise various civil construction activities, coordinate with authorities, and ensure project quality and standards. Highlights: 1. Manage excavation, trenching, bedding, backfilling, and road reinstatement works 2. Supervise valve chambers, thrust blocks, manholes, and other civil structures 3. Coordinate with Kahramaa inspectors, consultants, and clients for approvals Civil Engineer – Job Requirements (3 Positions) **Education:** * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering **Experience:** * Minimum relevant experience in civil construction, preferably in Qatar/GCC. * Experience in water pipeline, utility, infrastructure, or underground services projects is preferred. * Experience working on Kahramaa, Ashghal, or similar authority projects is an advantage. **Required Skills \& Responsibilities:** * Experience managing **excavation, trenching, bedding, backfilling, and road reinstatement works**. * Experience supervising **valve chambers, thrust blocks, manholes, and other civil structures**. * Ability to review **IFC drawings, shop drawings, and construction drawings**. * Good knowledge of **Kahramaa standards**, project specifications, and quality requirements. * Experience coordinating with **Kahramaa inspectors, consultants, and clients** for inspections and approvals. * Experience supervising **subcontractors, site engineers, and construction activities**. * Ability to prepare daily progress reports and coordinate with project teams. * Knowledge of HSE requirements and quality procedures. **Preferred Experience:** * Water Transmission \& Distribution Networks * HDPE / DI / GRP Pipeline Projects * Utility Infrastructure * Pumping Stations * Reservoirs * Road \& Utility Works Suitable Candidate Profile A suitable candidate should have: * ✔ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering * ✔ 5\+ years of relevant civil construction experience (preferably in Qatar/GCC) * ✔ Experience in pipeline/utility infrastructure projects * ✔ Experience with excavation, trenching, valve chambers, and reinstatement works * ✔ Knowledge of Kahramaa standards * ✔ Experience coordinating with consultants and Kahramaa inspectors * ✔ Strong site supervision and subcontractor management skills This checklist will help you quickly determine whether a candidate's CV matches the position before forwarding it to the client.
