The company focuses on high editorial standards, fast\-paced reporting, and audience\-driven storytelling. **Job Summary** The News Coordinator will support the editorial and production teams by coordinating news coverage, managing content workflows, and ensuring timely delivery of news stories. This role serves as a central link between reporters, editors, producers, and digital teams to maintain efficient newsroom operations. **Key Responsibilities** * Coordinate daily news operations and content scheduling * Liaise with reporters, editors, photographers, and production teams * Track breaking news and assist in assigning coverage tasks * Manage editorial calendars and ensure deadlines are met * Review incoming content for completeness before editorial processing * Assist in publishing content across digital and broadcast platforms * Maintain accurate records of stories, sources, and media assets * Monitor news trends and support content planning * Coordinate live coverage logistics and newsroom communication * Ensure adherence to editorial standards and company guidelines **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Media, Communications, or related field * Previous experience in a newsroom, media coordination, or content operations role * Strong organizational and multitasking skills * Excellent written and verbal communication in English (Arabic is an advantage) * Ability to work under pressure in a fast\-paced news environment * Familiarity with digital publishing tools and content management systems **Preferred Skills** * Experience in broadcast, digital media, or news agencies * Knowledge of newsroom workflows and editorial processes * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to handle breaking news situations efficiently * Team collaboration and time management skills **What We Offer** * Competitive salary package * Dynamic and fast\-paced newsroom environment in Doha * Opportunity to work on real\-time news coverage * Career growth in media and journalism * Collaborative and professional team culture Job Type: Full\-time Pay: Up to QAR640,000\.00 per year Work Location: In person
