ELV Engineer

Summary: This role involves pre-sales and design of ELV solutions, including technical presentations, system architecture design, and client support. Highlights: 1. Design and implement ELV solutions for diverse client needs 2. Engage in technical presentations, system design, and client support 3. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies * Work with the sales team to understand client requirements and develop appropriate ELV solutions (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, intercom, networking, etc.). * Prepare and deliver technical presentations, solution designs, and demonstrations for clients. * Design system architecture, prepare BOQs, proposals, compliance statements, and technical submittals. * Liaise with suppliers/vendors to obtain technical and commercial offers. * Provide technical support during client meetings, tender preparation, and bidding process. * Ensure proposed solutions comply with local regulations, industry standards, and client specifications. * Conduct site surveys when necessary and prepare site survey reports. * Support the project team during the handover from sales to execution. * Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings. * Coordinate with procurement and operations teams for project execution requirements. **Qualifications \& Skills:** * Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field. * Minimum **3–5 years’ experience** in pre\-sales/design of ELV systems, especially CCTV \& security systems. * Strong knowledge of CCTV (IP/Analog), NVRs, DVRs, Access Control, Video Analytics, and Networking. * Familiarity with brands such as Hikvision, Axis, Dahua, Milestone, Honeywell, etc. * Experience in reading drawings, schematics, and preparing AutoCAD layouts (advantage). * Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple proposals simultaneously. * Knowledge of local authority regulations and approvals (e.g., MOI/PSBD/QCD if in GCC).
