Ensure proper handling of steel products and maintain safety standards. **Job Description – Forklift Operator** **Position:** Forklift Operator **Department:** Production / Warehouse / Logistics **Location:** Etihad Steel Factory, Qatar **Job Summary** Etihad Steel Factory is seeking a skilled and safety\-conscious Forklift Operator to support warehouse and production operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to safely load, unload, transport, and stack raw materials and finished products while ensuring compliance with company safety procedures. **Key Responsibilities** * Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the factory and warehouse. * Load and unload trucks, containers, and storage racks. * Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment to designated locations. * Ensure proper handling of steel products to prevent damage. * Perform daily pre\-operation inspections of the forklift and report any defects or maintenance requirements. * Follow all safety procedures and company policies while operating equipment. * Maintain accurate records of material movements when required. * Assist with inventory management and stock organization. * Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards. * Support warehouse and production teams with material handling activities. * Wear and maintain the required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. * Report accidents, unsafe conditions, or equipment malfunctions immediately. **Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. * Valid Forklift Operator License/Certification (preferred or as required by local regulations). * Minimum **2 years** of forklift operating experience, preferably in a steel fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environment. * Ability to operate different types of forklifts safely. * Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory handling. * Ability to read and understand safety instructions and work procedures. * Good physical fitness and ability to work in an industrial environment.
