Summary: This role involves comprehensive tile maintenance, including repair, replacement, surface preparation, grouting, and sealing, along with preventive inspections and unit turnovers. Highlights: 1. Perform skilled tile repair and replacement tasks. 2. Execute thorough surface preparation for new tile installations. 3. Conduct preventive inspections to identify potential water damage. * **Tile Repair \& Replacement:** Remove cracked, loose, or hollow floor and wall tiles safely without damaging surrounding surfaces. \[1, 2] * **Surface Prep:** Clean, level, and patch subfloors or drywall using mortar, cement, or patching compounds before laying new tile. \[1] * **Grouting \& Sealing:** Re\-grout worn joints, apply fresh silicone or caulking at perimeters and wet areas, and seal natural stone surfaces. \[1, 2] * **Preventive Inspections:** Check balconies, bathrooms, and kitchens regularly for water damage, loose trims, or failing waterproof membranes. \[1] * **Unit Turnovers:** Complete fast\-turnaround tile repairs and touch\-ups to prepare vacant rental properties for new tenants. * **Work Logging:** Document completed maintenance tasks, materials used, and time spent using property management software or work orders.
