





We’re looking for a strategic and commercially focused **Category Head** to lead product category performance across our food distribution business. You’ll drive sales, profitability, and market share by developing data\-driven strategies, optimizing assortments, and managing supplier relationships. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead category strategy across multiple food segments to maximize growth and margin. * Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor data to shape plans. * Identify new product and pricing opportunities to grow category performance. * Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms. * Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, sales, and finance for end\-to\-end execution. * Oversee assortment planning, inventory health, and replenishment accuracy. * Lead and mentor category managers and support staff. * Monitor KPIs and adjust strategies to meet business goals. **Qualifications:** * 7\+ years in category management or buying within food/FMCG. * Strong leadership and negotiation skills. * Proven track record in driving category growth and profitability. * Analytical mindset with data\-led decision making. * Experience across retail or wholesale channels is a plus. * Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
