





The Head Server is responsible for overseeing front\-of\-house service in a restaurant or hospitality setting. This role includes managing and supporting the waitstaff, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, coordinating table assignments, and serving guests during busy hours. **Key Responsibilities** **Customer Service:** * Greet and serve guests in a professional, timely, and friendly manner. * Ensure all guests have an exceptional dining experience. * Handle customer complaints or concerns efficiently and professionally. **Staff Supervision \& Support:** * Lead and support the waitstaff team during shifts. * Train new servers and ensure ongoing compliance with service standards. * Assign tables and manage section rotations for servers. **Operational Duties:** * Oversee dining setup, cleanliness, and readiness before and during service. * Communicate closely with kitchen staff regarding menu changes, dietary needs, and order issues. * Assist in inventory checks and restocking service areas as needed. **Administrative:** * Maintain records of server performance and help with scheduling if required. * Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. * Report to the restaurant manager or floor manager with updates or concerns. **Qualifications \& Skills:** * Proven experience as a server or head waiter in a full\-service restaurant. * Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. * Excellent communication and customer service abilities. * Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. * Professional appearance and demeanor. * Basic knowledge of POS systems and order management.
