





**Related duties and responsibilities** · Interferes the preparation and production of all pastry products. · Receives ingredients and other supplies from suppliers/storekeeper as required for daily operations. · Follows Head Barista’s instructions and works on implementation · Interferes and follows up on the cleaning and disinfection of work areas, utensils, and equipment. · Maintains the proper functioning of the chocolate fountains, crepe, waffle, blenders, coffee machine, chillers and freezers. Makes sure closed control and follow up. · Detects and ensures disposition of spoiled or unattractive food, defective supplies/equipment, and/or other unusual conditions. · Follows up and executes production sheets and other records as required with the coordination of the head barista and/or Manager on duty. · Fulfills and commits to all checklists and log sheets. · Monitors and control products shelf life and prevents product expiration. · Ready to cover in special circumstances (emergency absenteeism of any team members). · Trains and coaches all new hired employees in his department to meet job requirements and supervise their performance with the coordination of his head of department and/or Manager. · Ensures compliance with company’s policies and procedures. · Ensure compliance with the Step\-by\-Step Book, preparation and cooking methods. · Makes sure commitment in recipes and kitchen charts as well as the portioning details. · Communicates with his head of department and/or Manager and follows up on all production matters. · Prepares orders for the Central Kitchen/Warehouse and makes sure commitment in PAR LEVEL and follows up receiving of products as requested. · Reports regularly to his Line Manager with all B.O.H gaps like item shortage and emergency cases. · Reports regularly with maintenance matters to his Line Manager. · Controls delivery timing of all menu items and makes sure of the proper speed of service is maintained. · Tracks, controls Wastes and works on reduction. · Performs the Section Checklist in order to determine deviations and to set corrective actions with the communication of his Line Manager. · Assists in handling the daily inventory items as well as the monthly. · Performs other related duties as assigned. **Communication and Working Relationships** · Communicates professionally with all team members and Line Manager while keeping a productive working environment. · Communicates with the stewards while keeping a healthy and clean environment. **Knowledge, Skills, and Experience** · Minimum 3 years of experience in F\&B, preferably as Barista, same product is a plus. · Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. · A good Arabic languages skill, English is a plus. · Computer Knowledge is a plus. **Requirements of the job** The job of the Barista may require physical and long working hours and time flexibility. Job Type: Full\-time Pay: QAR2,800\.00 per month
