**Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Rig Manager to oversee operations and ensure the efficient functioning of our rig site. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in rig management, with hands\-on experience in utilising hand and power tools, as well as electrical systems. This role requires a proactive leader who can coordinate activities, manage personnel, and maintain safety standards on\-site. **Responsibilities** * Supervise daily rig operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. * Coordinate the activities of rig personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure effective teamwork. * Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools, ensuring they are maintained in good working order. * Utilise hand tools and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks as required. * Oversee electrical systems on the rig, troubleshooting issues and coordinating repairs as necessary. * Maintain accurate records of operations, equipment usage, and personnel performance. * Implement training programmes for new staff to ensure they are familiar with equipment and safety protocols. * Liaise with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and address any logistical challenges. **Experience** * Proven experience in a rig management role or similar position within the oil and gas industry. * Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to rig operations. * Demonstrated electrical experience, with the ability to troubleshoot basic electrical issues. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and stakeholders. * A commitment to maintaining high safety standards and promoting a culture of safety within the team.
