Summary: This role is responsible for managing all inventory, ordering, and procurement activities for the Botany trading and Lab by Botany, ensuring material availability and compliance. Highlights: 1. Manage all lab inventory, supplies, chemicals, and equipment. 2. Coordinate procurement with vendors for timely and cost-efficient delivery. 3. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and legal regulations for materials. The Storekeeper / Procurement is responsible for managing all inventory, ordering, and procurement activities for the Botany trading and Lab by Botany. This role ensures that all supplies, equipment, and materials are available when needed, while maintaining accurate records and compliance with company policies and budgets. **The position will include key responsibilities such as:**  Follow all company polices outlined in the Employee Handbook and General Policies and Procedures  Manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of all lab supplies, chemicals, and equipment.  Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.  Coordinate procurement of lab materials with approved vendors, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.  Monitor stock levels and forecast future requirements in coordination with lab staff.  Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and legal regulations for storage and handling of materials.  Assist Finance with budgeting, invoice verification, and payment approvals related to lab purchases.  Maintain a well\-organized and clean storage area, following company and lab protocols. **Qualifications and Skills:**  High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in logistics, procurement, or related field preferred.  Prior experience in inventory management or procurement, preferably in a laboratory or scientific environment.  Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and stock control.  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.  Good communication and coordination skills.  Familiarity with health, safety, and chemical handling procedures is a plus. **Working Conditions:**  Primarily based in the Botany Lab and storage areas.  May require handling chemicals or sensitive lab equipment following proper safety protocols.
