Maintenance Supervisor

Summary: Manages and coordinates maintenance activities, ensures effective operation, and reports progress to management while overseeing repairs, preventative checks, and accurate record-keeping. Highlights: 1. Lead and manage a maintenance team, ensuring effective operations. 2. Develop and enforce maintenance schedules for various building systems. 3. Utilize expertise in troubleshooting diverse electrical and building systems. * Responsible for managing the maintenance team and coordinating maintenance activities to make sure the work is done in an effective manner. * To be able to report to the management on a regular basis all the issues, the action taken and the progress of fixing/troubleshooting or developing the required work. * Develop maintenance schedules and enforce them among maintenance staff. * To organize repairs, maintenance, and preventive maintenance checks on the Kitchen equipment, building systems including civil/structural items, electrical items and plumbing. * Monitor and prioritize maintenance requests and tasks. Identify and expedite emergencies and monitor workload throughout the day to ensure tasks are completed timely and efficiently. * Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance service requests (received and completed), expenditures and work\-in\-progress. * Must be locally available in Qatar with a Transferable work visa. * High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent with Minimum 5 years of related experience. * Excellent communication skills. * Good presentation and reporting skills * Proven leadership skills to manage the team and lead all the technicians. * Excellent computer skills. * Experience in the diagnosis, repair, installation, replacement, maintenance and troubleshooting of a wide variety of electrical systems, A/C, Kitchen equipment and fixtures. * Excellent knowledge of building systems including civil/structural items and plumbing. * Basic knowledge of carpentry is required. * Proficiency in preventive maintenance.
