Summary: Seeking a skilled MIG Welder to perform welding on various steel components, interpret technical drawings, and ensure accurate welds according to quality standards. Highlights: 1. Perform MIG welding on mild, carbon, and structural steel components. 2. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols. 3. Ensure accurate welds to specifications, tolerances, and quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform **MIG welding on mild steel, carbon steel, and structural steel components**. * Read and interpret **technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols**. * Prepare materials for welding including **cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting**. * Set up and operate **MIG welding machines and related fabrication equipment**. * Ensure **accurate welds according to specifications, tolerances, and quality standards**. * Inspect completed welds for **defects, cracks, or inconsistencies**. * Conduct **basic maintenance of welding machines and tools**. * Follow **safety procedures, PPE requirements, and welding safety standards**. * Work with the fabrication team to ensure **production targets and deadlines are met**. * Maintain **clean and organized work areas**. **Qualifications \& Requirements:** **Education** * ITI / Diploma in Welding, Mechanical, or related field preferred. **Experience** * **2–5 years of experience** as a MIG Welder in **steel manufacturing, fabrication, or construction industries**. **Technical Skills** * Strong knowledge of **MIG welding techniques**. * Ability to work with **structural steel, plates, pipes, and fabricated components**. * Familiarity with **welding tools, grinders, cutting torches, and fabrication equipment**. * Ability to **read fabrication drawings and welding symbols**. * Knowledge of **welding safety and quality standards**.
