




**ob Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced **Cleaner / Housekeeping Trainer** to lead by example and train new and existing housekeeping staff in cleaning protocols, safety standards, and company procedures. This role combines active cleaning duties with the responsibility of mentoring and upskilling the housekeeping team to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards across all areas. **Key Responsibilities:Cleaning Duties:** * Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing of restrooms, kitchens, offices, guest rooms, or public areas. * Dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas. * Ensure cleaning supplies are properly used and stored. * Report maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately. * Follow health and safety regulations and company policies. **Training Duties:** * Conduct onboarding and on\-the\-job training for new cleaners/housekeeping staff. * Demonstrate proper cleaning techniques, use of equipment, and chemical safety. * Provide refresher training sessions to existing staff. * Monitor and evaluate performance to ensure compliance with quality standards. * Develop training materials such as checklists, manuals, or visual aids. * Support management in implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs). **Qualifications \& Skills:** * Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeping staff member (minimum 2–3 years). * Prior experience in training or supervising staff is highly desirable. * Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to motivate and lead a team. * Physically fit and capable of performing cleaning tasks for extended periods. * Knowledge of health \& safety and infection control protocols. **Working Conditions:** * Shift work may be required, including weekends and holidays. * May be required to work in various environments (e.g., hotels, offices, hospitals). * Uniform and protective gear must be worn as required. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Certificate in Housekeeping, Hospitality, or Occupational Health \& Safety (optional but a plus). * Experience in hospitality, healthcare, or commercial cleaning settings.
