Summary: Perform gas cutting of steel components, operate cutting equipment safely, and maintain a clean work area while adhering to safety policies. Highlights: 1. Operate oxy-acetylene and other gas cutting equipment safely and efficiently. 2. Ensure proper handling and storage of gas cylinders and cutting tools. 3. Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE at all times. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform gas cutting of steel plates, pipes, and structural components as per drawings or supervisor instructions. * Operate oxy\-acetylene and other gas cutting equipment safely and efficiently. * Measure and mark materials accurately before cutting. * Ensure proper handling and storage of gas cylinders and cutting tools. * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the yard work area. * Assist in loading, unloading, and material handling when required. * Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE at all times. * Report equipment defects or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor. **Basic Knowledge \& Skills Required:** * Basic knowledge of gas cutting techniques and equipment operation. * Understanding of safety procedures related to gas cylinders and cutting operations. * Ability to read basic measurements and markings. * Familiarity with metal types and thickness handling. * Physical fitness to work in outdoor yard conditions. * Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. **Qualification \& Experience:** * Minimum education: Basic schooling or equivalent. * 1–2 years of experience in gas cutting preferred (freshers with basic training may apply).
