Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure project implementation Business Development \& Account Manager – Qatar **Position Title:** Business Development \& Account Manager – Qatar **Department:** Business Development **Location:** Doha, Qatar **Reports To:** Country Manager / General Manager – Qatar Position Summary The Business Development \& Account Manager is responsible for driving Parkonic's growth across Qatar by acquiring new parking locations, developing strategic partnerships, and managing existing client relationships. The role focuses on expanding the company's portfolio of managed parking sites while ensuring high client satisfaction, contract retention, and revenue growth from existing accounts. The successful candidate will actively identify and secure new business opportunities, manage key client relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, and work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project implementation and long\-term account success. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development \& Site Acquisition * Identify, pursue, and secure new parking locations across Qatar. * Develop and execute a business development strategy to increase Parkonic's market share and number of managed parking sites. * Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline across commercial, residential, retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, mixed\-use developments, and government sectors. * Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and emerging market trends. * Establish relationships with property owners, developers, facility management companies, asset managers, consultants, and government stakeholders. * Prepare and deliver commercial proposals, presentations, and business cases. * Lead negotiations and secure commercial agreements that align with company objectives. * Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business development targets. * Represent Parkonic at industry events, networking functions, and business forums. * Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting through the company CRM system. Account Management \& Client Retention * Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned key accounts. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders. * Conduct regular client meetings and business reviews to assess performance and identify growth opportunities. * Ensure client satisfaction through proactive engagement and effective issue resolution. * Coordinate with Operations, Projects, Technical, and Finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery. * Identify opportunities for contract renewals, contract extensions, upselling, and cross\-selling of Parkonic services. * Monitor account performance and ensure contractual obligations are met by all parties. * Address client concerns and escalate issues internally when necessary. * Support collection efforts and coordinate with Finance to ensure timely payment of invoices. * Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contract milestones, and account performance. * Build executive\-level relationships to strengthen long\-term partnerships and increase account value. * Develop account growth plans for strategic clients. Commercial Management * Prepare financial models, commercial analyses, and pricing proposals. * Evaluate project feasibility and revenue potential for new opportunities. * Negotiate commercial terms and contract conditions. * Work closely with Legal and Finance teams during contract review and execution. * Ensure all commercial agreements support company profitability and strategic objectives. Internal Collaboration * Coordinate with Operations and Project teams to ensure successful mobilization of newly acquired sites. * Support site surveys, feasibility studies, and implementation planning. * Facilitate smooth handover of signed projects to operational teams. * Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support business growth initiatives. * Provide market feedback and customer insights to support continuous improvement. Market Intelligence * Monitor competitor activities, pricing structures, and market developments. * Identify emerging opportunities within the smart mobility and parking industry. * Provide regular reports and recommendations to management regarding market trends and strategic opportunities. * Develop and maintain knowledge of Qatar's real estate, parking, mobility, and infrastructure sectors. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Business Development KPIs * Number of new parking sites acquired. * Number of parking bays secured. * Total contract value signed. * Revenue generated from new business. * Pipeline value maintained. * Opportunity conversion rate. * Average sales cycle duration. * Achievement against quarterly and annual targets. Account Management KPIs * Client retention rate. * Contract renewal rate. * Revenue growth from existing accounts. * Upsell and cross\-sell revenue generated. * Client satisfaction levels. * Number of strategic account reviews completed. * Collection performance and payment compliance. * Resolution time for client issues. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field. * Master's Degree is considered an advantage. Experience * Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, Real Estate, Parking, Mobility, Facility Management, or related industries. * Proven track record of securing commercial contracts and achieving growth targets. * Experience managing key client accounts and long\-term commercial relationships. * Strong understanding of the Qatar market. * Existing network within Qatar's real estate, property management, hospitality, retail, or infrastructure sectors is highly preferred. * Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools. Authority The Business Development \& Account Manager is authorized to: * Represent Parkonic in commercial discussions and client meetings. * Negotiate commercial terms within approved company guidelines. * Develop and present proposals and business cases to prospective clients. * Manage assigned client accounts and coordinate internal resources to support client requirements. * Recommend strategic partnerships, pricing structures, and growth initiatives to management. Success Profile The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and commercially driven professional capable of expanding Parkonic's presence across Qatar while maintaining strong client relationships. Success in this role will be measured by the acquisition of new parking sites, growth of recurring revenue, retention of strategic accounts, and contribution to Parkonic's position as the leading smart parking operator in Qatar.
