LI Property Services is looking for an experienced **Contractor Finance Officer** to join our finance team in Doha. This key role involves managing financial operations, ensuring accurate budgeting, cost control, and reporting for our contractor\-based projects. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen with a proven ability to manage contractor agreements, monitor project costs, and ensure financial compliance within the property and construction sectors. **Key Responsibilities:** * Oversee the financial operations related to contractor agreements, ensuring accuracy in payments, invoicing, and budget management * Prepare, manage, and track budgets for contractor\-led projects, ensuring they align with company goals and project timelines * Monitor and analyze project costs, including materials, labor, and subcontractor expenses, ensuring they remain within budget * Collaborate with project managers to review project expenses and provide financial insights and recommendations for cost savings * Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, payment processing, and contract administration for contractors * Reconcile financial data and provide monthly reports on contractor payments, project expenditures, and forecasts * Conduct variance analysis on budget vs actual costs and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance * Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for both internal and external stakeholders * Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and accounting standards * Assist in preparing documentation for audits and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field * Proven experience as a finance officer or in a similar role, ideally within the property, construction, or contracting industries * Strong knowledge of contractor agreements, project cost management, and financial reporting * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems (knowledge of construction\-specific software is a plus) * Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills * Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments **Preferred Skills:** * Experience working with contractors in the property or construction sectors * Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting standards specific to the contracting industry * Professional certifications such as CMA, CPA, or ACCA are a plus **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary and benefits package * A dynamic and growing work environment in the property services sector * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Exposure to a wide range of contractor\-driven projects in Doha, Qatar **How to Apply:** Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV along with a cover letter detailing their experience in contractor finance and financial management.
