The role combines capital raising, firm leadership, deal execution, and hands\-on support for portfolio companies. **Core responsibilities** * Define the fund’s investment thesis, sector focus, and portfolio construction strategy. * Set long\-term goals, KPIs, governance standards, and risk controls. * Chair the investment committee and make final decisions on investments and exits. * Build and manage LP relationships, investor reporting, and fundraising efforts. * Source and evaluate deal flow, including market analysis, financial modeling, and due diligence. * Negotiate term sheets and key transaction documents with legal and advisory support. * Support portfolio companies with strategy, hiring, go\-to\-market, fundraising, and board participation. * Lead and mentor the investment and operations team, including hiring and culture development. **Qualifications** A posting usually asks for 5\+ years in venture capital, growth equity, private equity, or a related investing role.
