The Kitchen Steward plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen areas, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for our service and culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation. **Responsibilities (Kitchen Steward / Cleaner)**: * Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using proper techniques and equipment. * Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, including floors, countertops, appliances, and storage areas, ensuring a spotless and hygienic environment. * Properly dispose of garbage and recycling, maintaining cleanliness and order in the waste disposal areas. * Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment, ensuring proper cleaning and storage. * Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed, such as washing vegetables. * Receive and store deliveries of food and supplies, ensuring proper rotation and organization of stock. **Qualifications:** * Can speak English well, and Arabic (preferred) * Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment as steward or cleaner is a plus. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast\-paced environment, strong teamwork and problem\-solving abilities. * Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
