This profession extends beyond beverage creation and remains equally one where guest service is essential. Bartenders must use their knowledge and expertise to ensure the bar is enjoyable and functions flawlessly. They must be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with the entire hotel team, as well as with the broader community; they must also anticipate and respond to guests’ needs. It is vital to be genuinely committed to guest service and attentive to detail—from the moment money passes through the bartender’s hands, to the quality of beverages served, to the advice provided to guests. Regardless of your role, certain fundamentals are essential for success: creating a safe workplace, adhering to company policies and procedures or maintaining confidentiality. Additionally, it is important to uphold the company’s values through personal appearance, including uniform standards. Bartenders must remain standing and moving for extended periods (standing, sitting, walking…), and must physically engage in tasks (moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds (11.4 kg) unassisted; reaching items overhead or on the floor, which includes bending and twisting the body). Employees must execute all such tasks with precision. In doing so, our guests will always be satisfied, and our business will continue to thrive. RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent. Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience. Supervisory Experience: None.
