About the Role We are seeking an experienced **Securities Operations Specialist** to support securities trading operations, settlement, custody, and brokerage activities within Qatar's capital markets environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient trade processing, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence while working closely with internal teams, financial institutions, and market participants. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage securities operations across the trade lifecycle, including trade execution support, settlement, custody, and reconciliation. * Coordinate with brokers, custodians, depositories, and other financial institutions to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing. * Monitor operational risks and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and market requirements. * Support customer enquiries and provide operational assistance related to securities transactions. * Maintain accurate records and prepare operational reports. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and service delivery. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. * 3–7 years of experience in financial operations, brokerage, capital markets, securities services, or investment operations. * Mandatory experience working with a brokerage firm in Qatar. * Prior experience with the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) or organizations involved in securities trading, settlement, custody, or depository operations is highly preferred. * Experience with Central Securities Depositories (CSD), Custody Services, Clearing \& Settlement, Securities Depositories, or Brokerage Operations is highly preferred. * Candidates from wealth management firms, investment firms, asset management companies, private banking, or securities brokerage firms are encouraged to apply. * Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory. * Strong understanding of the securities trading lifecycle, trade settlement, custody operations, and capital market regulations. * Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems. * Excellent communication, stakeholder management, customer service, and problem\-solving skills. * Experience within GCC financial institutions and knowledge of Qatar's financial market regulations will be an advantage. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong customer service and relationship\-management skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong problem\-solving and analytical abilities. * High attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines. * Strong coordination and teamwork skills. **Ready to Join Our Team?** If you have proven experience in financial operations, brokerage, capital markets, securities services, or customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
