Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership ### **General Information** Ref \# 235274 Location Qatar\-Doha Job family Corporate \& Commercial * Closing Date: 2026\-09\-14 ### **Description** **About the Role** This role is responsible for leading the architecture, design, development, integration, deployment, security, and operational support of enterprise applications, digital platforms, and eCommerce solutions. The role combines technical leadership, solution architecture, hands\-on development, cloud engineering, enterprise integration, DevSecOps, AI enablement, and governance responsibilities to deliver secure, scalable, resilient, business\-aligned technology solutions. The role serves as the primary technical authority for application modernization, digital commerce platforms, enterprise integrations, cloud adoption, security governance, and AI\-driven transformation initiatives. **Your duties would include:** * Lead application development, technical design, architecture reviews, and delivery of enterprise solutions. * Should be able to understand and develop design and architecture artefacts for complex integration and security deployments. * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using **.NET, Next.js, Nest.js, MS SQL, No\-SQL, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3**. * Review and contribute to Functional Specifications, Interface Specifications, High\-Level Designs (HLDs), Low\-Level Designs (LLDs), and Non\-Functional Requirements (NFRs). * Design and implement integrations between enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, cloud services, ERP systems, payment gateways, marketplace solutions, and external business systems. * Lead enterprise integration initiatives using **REST APIs, Microservices, Middleware, Apache NiFi, API Management, and IPaaS platforms**. * Implement and support Identity and Access Management solutions using **Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, MFA, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML**. * Oversee deployment and support of applications across **On\-Premises, Hybrid Cloud, Azure, AWS, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker environments**. * Drive adoption of **DevSecOps**, CI/CD automation, security scanning, and secure software development practices. * Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security governance, and software quality best practices. * Lead root\-cause analysis, performance optimization, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives. * Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership across the software delivery lifecycle. * Drive **AI onboarding and adoption initiatives**, including AI\-assisted development, intelligent automation, and enterprise AI integration. **ECommerce Domain Experience (Preferred)** * Experience delivering and supporting **enterprise eCommerce platforms**, digital commerce ecosystems, and omnichannel customer experiences. * Exposure to eCommerce platforms such as **BigCommerce, Shopify, Magento, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud**, or similar solutions. **Core Technical Skills (Required)** .NET Framework / .NET Core, React.js, Next.js, Node.js, Nest.js, JavaScript / TypeScript, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Apache NiFi \& Apache Camel, REST APIs, Microservices, Middleware Development, SaaS Integration, External System Integration, API Management, IPaaS Platforms, Microsoft Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Hybrid Cloud Platforms, **Identity \& Security Management, DevOps,** Git, CI/CD Pipelines, Release Management **Be part of an extraordinary story** Your skills. The ideal candidate should possess the following: * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline. * 8\+ years of experience in enterprise application development, integration, and digital solution delivery. * Proven experience leading application modernization, cloud migration, enterprise integration, and eCommerce initiatives. * Strong expertise in solution architecture, cloud platforms, security governance, DevSecOps, AI adoption, and digital transformation. * Excellent stakeholder management, vendor management, leadership, communication, and problem\-solving skills. **About Qatar Airways Group:** Our story started with four aircraft.
