Improving inventory management efficiency and reducing operational costs **F\&B Retail Inventory Controller** Job Overview Our company is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to manage and monitor inventory for the Food & Beverage (F&B) and retail sectors. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing waste, tracking movement of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring accuracy between physical stock and accounting systems, and supporting operational efficiency and cost reduction. Duties and Responsibilities * Monitor and manage inventory levels in restaurants or retail outlets. * Track daily movement of raw materials and finished goods. * Conduct periodic stock counts (Daily/Weekly/Monthly Stock Counts). * Reconcile physical inventory with system records (Inventory Reconciliation). * Analyze waste and loss and propose solutions to minimize them. * Coordinate with Procurement, Kitchen, and Warehouse departments to ensure material availability. * Prepare inventory, consumption, and operational cost reports. * Monitor expiry dates and implement FIFO/FEFO systems. * Support ordering and replenishment processes as required by operational needs. * Ensure compliance with storage and food safety procedures. * Improve inventory management efficiency and reduce operational costs. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Inventory Management, or a related field. * 2–5 years of experience in inventory management; experience in the F\&B or retail sector is preferred. * Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP software. * Strong analytical skills and high data accuracy. * Proficiency in Excel and inventory reporting. * Solid understanding of inventory management principles (FIFO / FEFO). * Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
