Summary: Seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join our team, responsible for inspecting mechanical installation activities and ensuring compliance with project specifications and QA/QC requirements. Coordinate inspections with Client, Main Contractor, and QA/QC teams. Mechanical Inspector We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join our team for a major Qatar Desalination Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting mechanical installation activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and QA/QC requirements. Key Responsibilities * Inspect mechanical installation works, including piping, tanks, pumps, valves, static and rotating equipment. * Verify compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, ITPs, and applicable international codes. * Conduct inspections for material receiving, installation, alignment, hydrotesting, flushing, and mechanical completion. * Coordinate inspections with the Client, Main Contractor, and QA/QC teams. * Prepare inspection reports, punch lists, and NCR follow\-up. * Witness pressure testing, mechanical completion, and commissioning activities. * Ensure all work complies with project quality and HSE requirements. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. * Minimum 5–8 years' experience as a Mechanical Inspector in EPC construction projects. * Experience in Desalination / RO Plant / Water Treatment / Oil \& Gas / Petrochemical / Power Plant Projects. * Strong knowledge of piping systems, mechanical equipment installation, hydrotesting, and quality inspection. * Familiarity with international standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, and project QA/QC procedures. * CSWIP 3\.1 or equivalent QA/QC certification is an advantage. * GCC experience preferred. * Immediate joiners are preferred. * Valid passport with at least 1 year validity.
