Job Summary: The Senior Electrical Technician is responsible for performing and supervising the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. This role ensures electrical operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures. The technician also mentors junior staff and contributes to improving system reliability and performance. \-\-\- Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment such as motors, transformers, switchgear, lighting, and control systems. Lead and supervise electrical technicians and electricians during maintenance and project work. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in power distribution, control circuits, and automation systems. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to schedules and safety requirements. Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and single\-line diagrams (SLDs). Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and clamp meters. Assist engineers in commissioning new electrical installations and equipment. Monitor the performance of electrical systems to ensure reliability and efficiency. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work reports, and inventory records. Train and guide junior technicians in troubleshooting, installation, and safety practices. Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, instrumentation, HVAC, etc.) for integrated system maintenance. Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. \-\-\- * **Senior Electrical Technicians:** * Minimum **5\+ years of Gulf experience** in maintenance activities. * Must hold an **ITI certification or Diploma** in the relevant technical category. * Must have hands\-on experience in troubleshooting, fault identification, and on\-site repair activities. * Must provide **previous experience certificates** for verification. * Must possess **good communication skills in English** (verbal and written).
