Join us and shape your story with Mott MacDonald, where everyone has the opportunity to be **brilliant**. **About the role** Mott MacDonald is seeking a qualified **Civil Inspector** to support the construction of heavy Civils and major drainage systems/Sewerage Networks projects in Qatar. **Key responsibilities, but not limited to:** * Monitoring and inspecting the construction work and ensuring compliance with the PPPA and the Health \& Safety and Welfare requirement is being carried out in compliance with the regulatory and the Authority safety and welfare requirements. * Attend progress and technical meetings with the Authority and the Project Company. **Candidate specifications** * Bachelor’s Degree and/ or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute to the approval of the Engineer. * Demonstrable experience of supervision of civil construction projects related to similar pump station or STW projects or water retaining structures. * Experience should also include construction involving structural concrete, buildings, piping installations, deep excavations and pavement/ roadworks, utilities diversion/ interface etc. * Must have good command of English both written and spoken; * Computer skills are mandatory. **Flexible working** At Mott MacDonald, we support our staff to create work\-life balance which works for them and welcome candidates looking for career flexibility.
