Provide commercial advice to project management teams About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 15 years of proven experience in the construction industry to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all commercial and contractual aspects of major construction projects, ensuring cost control, value engineering, and effective contract administration throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities * Prepare, review, and manage project budgets, cost plans, and forecasts. * Conduct quantity take\-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ). * Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and negotiate contracts. * Manage variations, claims, and change orders. * Monitor project costs and prepare regular financial reports. * Review and certify contractor and subcontractor payments. * Ensure compliance with contract terms and project specifications. * Provide commercial advice to project management teams. * Resolve contractual and commercial disputes when required. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline. * Minimum 15 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with significant experience on large\-scale construction projects. * Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and contract administration. * Experience in cost management, claims, variations, and commercial reporting. * Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. * Proficiency in MS Office and quantity surveying software. * GCC/Qatar experience is highly preferred.
