Career growth and development opportunities **Job Title:** Network Technician **Location:** Qatar Job Description We are looking for an experienced **Network Technician** to join our team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of passive network infrastructure, ensuring reliable network connectivity and high service standards. Key Responsibilities * Install, maintain, and repair UTP, Fiber Optic (FOC), multi\-core, and LAN cabling. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of passive network infrastructure. * Mount and patch active network devices. * Conduct site surveys, inspections, and prepare BOQs and technical reports. * Maintain network drawings, patching matrices, and documentation. * Use Fluke testers, cable testers, crimping tools, and other network testing equipment. * Support network cabling deployments for projects and events. * Manage network inventory and provide remote support when required. * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely project delivery and issue resolution. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics \& Communication Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum **8 years of IT Support experience**, including **2–3 years in a Network Technician or similar role**. * Strong hands\-on experience with structured cabling (UTP, Fiber Optic, multi\-core, LAN). * Experience in mounting and patching active network devices. * Proficient in using Fluke testers, cable testers, crimping tools, and other passive network tools. * Experience conducting site inspections and preparing BOQs. * Good troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills. * Professional IT certifications are an added advantage.
