Summary: Seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates and technical proposals for structural steel fabrication, hoisting equipment, and crane-related projects. Job Responsibilities * Review and analyze customer inquiries, technical specifications, drawings, and tender documents. * Identify project scope, technical requirements, and contractual conditions. * Prepare detailed cost estimates for: * Structural steel fabrication * Hoisting equipment (hoists, trolleys, gearboxes, motors) * Electrical systems (panels, VFDs, cabling, busbar/festoon systems) * Surface treatment and painting * Installation and commissioning * Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations. * Prepare preliminary technical configurations of cranes. * Determine crane classifications based on FEM, ISO, and CMAA standards. * Prepare preliminary General Arrangement (GA) layouts when required. * Identify technical exclusions, deviations, assumptions, and commercial risks. * Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and production teams during tender preparation. * Prepare technical and commercial proposal documents. * Maintain estimation records and support continuous improvement initiatives. * Ensure compliance with company QHSE policies, procedures, and standards. * Participate in internal/external audits, risk assessments, safety training, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
