Collaborate with diverse teams on SAP and cybersecurity best practices **SAP Consultant – Basis / NetWeaver (Web Application Server)** Location: Doha, Qatar Duration: 36 Months (Extendable) We are seeking a skilled **SAP Basis / NetWeaver Consultant** to manage, secure, and optimize SAP Java\-based systems for a leading organization in Qatar. **Role Overview** You will be responsible for ensuring the **security, stability, and performance** of SAP NetWeaver Java environments, including Enterprise Portal and PI/PO systems. This role focuses heavily on **patching, system hardening, and vulnerability management**. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform SAP NetWeaver Java patching (SPS, kernel updates, security notes) * Manage SAP Enterprise Portal and SAP PI/PO systems * Identify vulnerabilities and implement remediation actions * Monitor system performance, logs, and security risks * Plan and execute maintenance cycles and downtime activities * Maintain documentation for patching and system configurations * Collaborate with security, functional, and infrastructure teams * Ensure compliance with SAP and cybersecurity best practices **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent * SAP certifications (NetWeaver / Basis / PI/PO preferred) * Database certifications (Oracle / HANA / SQL) – desirable * Cybersecurity certifications (Security\+, CISSP, CEH) – added advantage **Experience Required** * 5\+ years of SAP Basis experience * Minimum 3\+ years hands\-on with SAP NetWeaver Java systems * Strong experience in: * SAP Enterprise Portal * SAP XI / PI / PO * Java stack patching \& system updates * Experience in system hardening and security configuration * Strong troubleshooting skills in SAP Java environments * Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows Server * Oil \& Gas industry experience preferred **Key Skills** * SAP NetWeaver Java (NWA, JSPM, SUM) * Patch management \& vulnerability remediation * System monitoring \& performance tuning * SAP security \& compliance * Database administration (SAP HANA / ASE / Sybase) * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills Job Types: Permanent, Contract Contract length: 36 months Pay: Up to QAR20,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
