Summary: This role involves assembling, testing, maintaining, and repairing battery modules and packs while strictly adhering to safety protocols and documenting data. Highlights: 1. Assemble and fabricate battery modules and packs, including BMS installation 2. Conduct rigorous performance testing and diagnostics of battery cells 3. Adhere to strict safety protocols, including hazardous material handling **Core Responsibilities** * ​Assembly and Fabrication: Assembling battery modules and packs, which includes connecting cells, installing battery management systems (BMS), and ensuring secure housing and wiring. * ​Testing and Diagnostics: Conducting rigorous performance tests (capacity, voltage, resistance) using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized battery diagnostic software to ensure cells meet quality standards. * ​Maintenance and Repair: Replacing faulty cells, repairing wiring harnesses, and addressing thermal management issues. * ​Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to safety protocols, including handling hazardous materials (lithium, electrolytes), wearing appropriate PPE, and managing electrical safety to prevent thermal runaway. * ​Data Documentation: Maintaining accurate logs of test results, maintenance history, and inventory levels to support quality assurance and regulatory compliance. ​**Required Skills and Qualifications** ​Technical Knowledge: Understanding electrical circuits, and battery technologies ​Problem\-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex issues within battery management systems or internal wiring. ​Safety Mindset: Deep knowledge of NFPA 70E (electrical safety) and hazardous material handling. ​Typical Education and Certification Path. **​Education:** High school diploma is the minimum; however, an associate’s certificate course in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Automotive Technology(ITI) is highly preferred. ​**Experience:** Prior experience in automotive repair, electrical technician work, or manufacturing environments.
