




Summary: The Mechanical Supervisor (MEP) oversees daily mechanical, plumbing, and associated MEP operations and maintenance in 11KV substations, ensuring system availability, reliability, and safety. Job Purpose** The Mechanical Supervisor (MEP) is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and executing the daily mechanical, plumbing, and associated MEP operations and maintenance activities within the 11KV private utilities standalone substations. This role ensures maximum system availability, reliability, and safety of all MEP assets and civil structural elements inside the substations in strict compliance with LREDC, Kahramaa, and Qatar Civil Defense standards. **2\. Key Responsibilities** **Operations \& Maintenance Management** · Supervise Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), reactive/breakdown maintenance, and corrective mechanical works for all MEP assets inside the standalone substations. · Ensure all mechanical and MEP equipment operates at peak efficiency as recommended by the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and Operation \& Maintenance Manuals (OMM). · Coordinate specialized call\-off services, including repairs, replacements, system upgrades, and refurbishment of MEP equipment. · Supervise cleaning, touch\-up painting, and minor repairs of building elements, interior flooring, trenches, pits, pumps, pipe networks, and cable trays without disrupting operations. **Work Order \& CAFM Management** · Utilize the LREDC Computer\-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system to receive, log, track, and close out work orders in a timely manner. · Assist in obtaining, issuing, and validating necessary Permits to Work (PTW) and No Objection Certificates (NOC) for third\-party contractors or sub\-developers. **Emergency \& Incident Response** · Ensure strict adherence to service response and resolution times (Priority A to D) for all general MEP assets, as well as critical fire alarm and firefighting systems. · Mobilize on\-site rapidly during emergencies to make the area safe, coordinate a "temporary fix", and execute a permanent resolution plan. · Support the preparation of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports for repetitive or critical asset failures. **Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)** · Enforce a zero\-compromise safety culture, ensuring all team members wear approved PPE and electrical\-rated safety footwear. · Implement site\-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) before initiating any physical work. · Oversee the maintenance and routine inspections of fire alarm and firefighting systems in compliance with Qatar Civil Defense regulations. **3\. Requirements \& Qualifications** · **Educational Background:** A relevant Engineering discipline, or an equivalent technical diploma approved by LREDC. · **Overall Experience:** Minimum of 5 years of experience in the engineering, operation, and maintenance field. · **Specialized Knowledge:** Prior experience working around high\-voltage (11KV) substations, utility tunnels, or similar infrastructure assets is a major advantage. · **Technical Competency:** Proficient in utilizing CAFM systems for work order management, tracking KPI matrices, and generating maintenance reports.
