Summary: The Assistant Learning & Development Manager plans, implements, and oversees programs to support employee growth, partnering with department heads to foster a culture of continuous learning. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development The **Assistant Learning \& Development Manager** is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing learning and development programs that support employee growth and business objectives. The role partners with department heads to identify training needs, manage the annual training plan and budget, ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, and oversee onboarding, leadership development, and training initiatives to foster a culture of continuous learning. **Key Responsibilities** * Identify training and development needs by collaborating with Department Heads and support the implementation of the property's annual training plan. * Develop, manage, and monitor the annual Learning \& Development (L\&D) calendar, training budget, and related reports. * Coordinate and facilitate onboarding, orientation, and mandatory brand training programs for all new associates. * Plan, organize, and monitor on\-the\-job training to ensure compliance with brand standards and operational objectives. * Deliver property\-wide training programs, including leadership, supervisory, and professional development courses. * Maintain accurate training records and ensure associates complete the required training hours in line with brand standards. * Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve the effectiveness of training programs and learning initiatives. * Develop and support departmental trainers while promoting a culture of continuous learning and development. * Coordinate management trainee programs and provide guidance to ensure successful completion of development plans. * Build partnerships with government agencies, educational institutions, and external training providers, while performing other duties as assigned. **Qualifications \& Experience** * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Psychology, or a related field. * Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Learning \& Development, Training, or Human Resources, preferably within the hospitality industry. * Experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs. * Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and organizational skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS). * **Previous experience in a Marriott property or strong knowledge of Marriott Learning \& Development and brand standards is highly preferred.** Application Question(s): * How soon can you join? * How much is your expected salary?
