Experience in HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting services **Position:** Mechanical BIM Modeler Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain accurate **3D BIM models** for mechanical systems based on approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. * Prepare detailed BIM models for **HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical services**. * Produce mechanical layouts, sections, details, and coordinated BIM drawings using **Revit MEP**. * Coordinate mechanical models with architectural, structural, electrical, and other MEP disciplines to identify and resolve clashes. * Review design drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure model accuracy and completeness. * Participate in **BIM coordination and clash detection** meetings and implement required modifications. * Prepare shop drawings, coordinated drawings, and BIM deliverables in accordance with project standards and BIM execution requirements. * Ensure models are developed in accordance with approved **LOD, BIM standards, naming conventions, and project procedures**. * Incorporate design changes, RFIs, and site requirements into the BIM model as instructed. * Coordinate with engineers, BIM coordinators, quantity surveyors, and site teams to ensure accurate representation of mechanical works. * Assist in extracting quantities, schedules, and other required information from BIM models. * Maintain proper model version control and ensure timely submission of BIM deliverables. * Support the preparation of **as\-built BIM models** based on approved site information and redline drawings. * Ensure all BIM work complies with project specifications, applicable codes, and company standards. Required Qualifications \& Skills * Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in **Mechanical Engineering, MEP, or a related field**. * Minimum **3–5 years of experience** as a Mechanical BIM Modeler, preferably in building construction or MEP projects. * Strong proficiency in **Autodesk Revit MEP** and AutoCAD. * Good understanding of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical services. * Experience in **BIM coordination, clash detection, and multidisciplinary model coordination**. * Knowledge of Navisworks and BIM 360/ACC is an advantage. * Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documents. * Good coordination, communication, and problem\-solving skills. * Experience in GCC/Qatar projects and knowledge of local standards is preferred.
