Estimation Engineer - Fire systems

Summary: This role involves reviewing tender documents, preparing detailed cost estimates for various fire protection systems, and coordinating with multiple teams. Highlights: 1. Collaborate with sales, engineering, procurement, and project teams Key Responsibilities \* Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, and client requirements. \* Prepare detailed cost estimates for: \* Fire Alarm Systems \* Fire Fighting Systems \* Sprinkler Systems \* FM200 / Clean Agent Suppression Systems \* Fire Pumps and Related Equipment \* Emergency \& Voice Evacuation Systems \* Perform material take\-offs from drawings and BOQs. \* Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. \* Prepare technical and commercial proposals. \* Analyze project risks, scope gaps, and deviations. \* Coordinate with sales, engineering, procurement, and project teams. \* Ensure compliance with NFPA, local civil defense, and project standards. \* Maintain estimation databases and cost records. \* Attend pre\-bid meetings and clarify technical requirements when required. \* Support project handover after award. Qualifications \* Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. \* 3–5 years of experience in fire protection system estimation. \* Knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire authority regulations. \* Experience in tendering and cost estimation for fire systems projects. Skills Required \* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. \* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. \* Strong analytical and cost estimation skills. \* Knowledge of fire alarm and firefighting system components. \* Good communication and negotiation skills. \* Experience with ERP/estimation software is an advantage. Pay: QAR4,000\.00 \- QAR5,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
