Summary: Seeking an experienced Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial aspects of large-scale construction, MEP, or infrastructure projects. Highlights: 1. Manage cost estimation, control, and commercial management of projects. 2. Handle variation claims, interim payments, and final account preparation. 3. Review contractual documents for quantity and commercial discrepancies. **Mechanical Quantity Surveyor (QS)** **Experience:** 5–8 Years **Location:** Qatar / GCC **Key Requirements:** * Minimum **5–8 years of relevant experience** as a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor within construction, MEP, or infrastructure projects. * Proven experience working on **large\-scale building, infrastructure, or industrial projects**. * Strong knowledge of **quantity take\-off, BOQ preparation, measurement, valuation, cost estimation, and cost control**. * Hands\-on experience in **variation claims, interim payment applications, monthly valuations, and final account preparation**. * Experience in **subcontractor measurement, payment certification, reconciliation, and commercial management**. * Good understanding of **contracts, commercial terms, scope changes, and contract administration**. * Experience in **project close\-out, final measurements, claims settlement, and preparation of project final accounts**. * Ability to review **drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contractual documents** and identify quantity/commercial discrepancies. * Strong skills in **Excel and QS/commercial reporting tools**. * Good **communication, negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management** skills. * Ability to work effectively with **Project Managers, Engineers, Consultants, Clients, Procurement teams, and subcontractors**. * **GCC experience is preferred**, particularly experience with major construction or infrastructure projects. * Candidates with experience in **Qatar/KSA/UAE projects and local contract practices** will have an added advantage.
