Conduct and coordinate OTDR testing and analyze test results Job Summary We are looking for an experienced **Fibre Optic Supervisor** to supervise fibre optic installation, splicing, testing, and documentation activities for power transmission, substation, and telecom projects. Key Responsibilities * Supervise **fibre optic cable installation** and routing activities. * Oversee fibre optic cable **splicing and termination** works. * Conduct and coordinate **OTDR testing** and analyze test results. * Supervise installation and testing of fibre optic and telecom systems. * Ensure fibre optic works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and procedures. * Coordinate with electrical, telecom, testing, and commissioning teams. * Maintain accurate **network documentation**, test reports, and as\-built records. * Supervise manpower and monitor daily work progress. * Ensure compliance with project quality and safety requirements. Requirements * Diploma or Technical Qualification in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. * **Minimum 5 years of relevant fibre optic experience.** * Strong hands\-on experience in fibre optic cable installation and splicing. * Experience with **OTDR testing** and fibre optic testing equipment. * Knowledge of telecom and communication systems. * Experience preparing and maintaining network documentation. * Good supervisory, coordination, and communication skills. * GCC/Qatar experience will be an advantage.
