Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors **Job Title**: Planning Engineer **Location**: Doha, Qatar **Job Type**: Part\-Time \| 6 Months **Job Description**: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated **Planning Engineer** to join our team on a part\-time basis for a six\-month assignment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring for both **building construction** and **infrastructure** projects. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop, update, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6\. * Prepare baseline programs, recovery plans, and revised schedules. * Perform critical path analysis and identify project risks and delays. * Monitor project progress and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports. * Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors. * Prepare look\-ahead schedules, resource histograms, and cash flow forecasts. * Assist in Extension of Time (EOT) claims and delay analysis when required. * Ensure project schedules comply with contract requirements and project milestones. **Requirements** * Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline. * Minimum 5 years of relevant planning experience in building construction projects. * Expert proficiency in **Primavera P6**. * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and other planning/reporting software. * Excellent understanding of project scheduling, resource planning, and project controls. * Experience preparing progress reports and presentations for clients and consultants. * Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. * Experience working on projects in Qatar is mandatory. * Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
