Leadership in applying Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies, and optimization of CI/CD processes. **Job Description** We are seeking a **Software Engineering Director** with leadership experience in managing software development teams and driving technical initiatives, to oversee the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions that support business objectives. The candidate will be responsible for defining the engineering vision, managing the software development lifecycle, leading cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring adherence to software development best practices, and promoting innovation and continuous improvement. **Responsibilities** * Develop and execute a software engineering strategy aligned with corporate goals. * Lead and manage software development teams, guiding engineers and team leads to achieve peak performance. * Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis through deployment and maintenance. * Design and adopt software architecture, ensuring system scalability and high performance. * Apply software development best practices, source code management, and software quality assurance. * Lead the adoption of **Agile**, **Scrum**, and **DevOps** methodologies, and optimize continuous integration and continuous delivery (**CI/CD**) processes. * Collaborate with Product Management, Quality Assurance, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure teams to ensure project success. * Oversee application security, data protection, and compliance with policies and regulatory standards. * Manage technical budgets and resources; evaluate and adopt appropriate technical tools and platforms. * Track emerging technologies and trends in software engineering and implement innovative solutions. * Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare technical reports for executive management. * Develop team technical competencies through training, mentoring, and performance evaluation. **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. * A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration (MBA), or a related discipline is preferred. * Minimum of **10 years** of experience in software development or software engineering, including at least **5 years** in a managerial or leadership role. * Experience managing large-scale software development teams and complex technical projects. * Strong knowledge of modern programming languages, software engineering principles, system design, databases, and application programming interfaces (**APIs**). * Experience with **Cloud Computing** technologies such as **AWS**, **Microsoft Azure**, or **Google Cloud Platform**. * Experience with **Agile**, **Scrum**, **DevOps**, **Docker**, **Kubernetes**, and **CI/CD**. * Experience using project management tools such as **Jira**, **Azure DevOps**, and **Git**. * Professional certifications such as **PMP**, **Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)**, or cloud computing certifications are preferred. * Full proficiency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written. **Required Skills** * Strong leadership and multidisciplinary engineering team management skills. * Strategic thinking and ability to make sound technical decisions. * Advanced analytical and complex technical problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects within defined timelines and budgets. * Commitment to quality best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement. * Ability to adapt to modern technologies and lead organizational change.
